What Phone I am Using?

Hello Guys

Today I'm about to share to you guys about the smartphone that I've been using currently, which is Xiaomi Redmi Note 3G. I've been using a lot of smartphone for the past years, which is a lot if I list it all here. With a different brands, models, specs, design and everything makes me experienced enough to compare which one is the best. Well, it is of course depends on your interest, if I'm saying this brands are good, but you still like the other one, still no use either. This is not actually promoting, but only to share what I experienced.

In this post, I will elaborated all the benefits and all the weaknesses of this brand, which is Xiaomi Redmi Note 3G. Why is make it specific to 3G? Because there is another version of this model which have the 4G features, which is good for those who have the 4G coverage in their area. For me, I don't bother much about the speed of my data connection, because I use wireless (WiFi) all the time wherever I go. So, it's fine with me. Moving on to another specifications, let's talk about the CPU. It is the first smartphone to have the octa-core with overclocked to almost 1.7 GHz Cortex A-7. It is the fastest smartphone and can be the cheapest one on this planet in it's class. Redmi Note using Mediatek MT6592 as it's chipset which is not bad at all. Mediatek has been upgrading their products to the higher level and implementing it to most of the devices these days, and the most important is, pricing.

Let's talk about the battery. Redmi Note packed with 3200 mAh with removable battery at the back of phone which can be replace or change just in case. For this amount of juice inside the phone, it can lasted for a very long time, depends on your usage. It can up to whole day usage, which is 24 hours. For my personal use, I'm fully charged it at 7 a.m, and use my data connection, musics, social media apps, camera, calls and messaging. The phone lasting until 12 a.m in the morning with still 3% in balance. Lastly but not least, the camera. The camera is really worth with the price that has been offered, equipped with 13 megapixel for the rear and 5 megapixel for the front facing camera, make it more worthy and powerful enough for it's class. It is capable of recording 1080p video quality at 30 frames per second, which is quite decent for the price. Well, that's pretty much of benefits that I found really interesting inside the Redmi Note. I gotta admit that, despite of the benefits, it also have a weaknesses of itself.

We all know and realize that Xiaomi is a company that based from China, and apps that pre-installed inside the phone also mostly comes with Chinese language, and even some of the apps appeared with no English language. So, it's pretty hard for those who can't understand the Chinese, but I found that, it is not actually a big deal. Because, not all apps are comes with Chinese, and if it does you're not using it anyway. Beside, there's a lot of forum for Redmi Note users that provide tips and tricks on how to handle it, you also can just simply flash the phone with a new custom and modded ROM to expelled this Chinese apps once and for all. It happen to be so easy if you follow all the steps really closely one by one.

Another problem that I found on Redmi Note is, the internal storage. Xiaomi only provide about 8 gigabyte (8 GB), which is too small to store all the musics, pictures, videos, games and everything. But just as I said, it all have no problem if you know on how to handle that. I found a way on how to solve this problem by installing WSM tools which is make the external storage acts like a internal storage. So, basically all your apps, pictures, videos and many more are saved to external storage, which is good and convenient. Why? Just in case your phone is having a problem and need to be factory reset, you can just simply remove the SD card and everything will be saved. How to install WSM tools? Search forum for that, there should be a tutorial on how to installed that. And in order to install WSM tool, it requires root inside the phone. Well, that pretty much I guess. The weaknesses is actually requires some reading on how to solved it. It should have the solutions. Well, kindly please correct me if there is something that I missed to mention here, I do mistakes too. So, I guess i'll see you guys on my next post. Till then, see ya.

Cheers !
